Hello! I am
Melanie Jackson.
Married to the love of my life Daniel, Mum to three amazing children Tayla, Brayden and Blake and fur Mummy to Pluto and Hugo. I have worked in customer service and event management roles for twenty five years and have been very fortunate to work alongside, train and create lifelong friendships with amazing people along the way.
As a guest at a wedding on a Whitsunday island years ago, a cyclone hit and the celebrant was unable to ferry across to conduct the ceremony. I was asked to step in and officiate the vows (before the legal ones could be done once the weather cleared days later) and from that moment on I knew this was my dream job, one that I was destined to do!
11 times a bridesmaid has also sparked my love for planning, organisation and creating memorable moments.
I’d be honoured to be a special part of someone's significant event, whether it be farewelling a loved one, recommitting to a lifelong relationship or commencing their marriage journey, and I always commit 100% to each and every ceremony.
What I offer

Renewal of Vows
$700
A ceremony where a married couple reaffirm their commitment to each other by renewing the vows made on their wedding day. It's a special and heartfelt way to celebrate your love and journey shared as a couple.
A ceremony guide will be provided to help you create your perfect day with reading , verse, vow renewal samples to choose from ,use of my state of the art PA system including microphone and music , vow renewal certificate and unlimited communication along the way.
Baby Naming
$500
A special event held to officially welcome a new baby into the family and formally announce and celebrate the child's name.
To help create your wonderful day I have samples of readings, verse and godparent introduction to choose from, use of my state-of-the-art PA system including microphone and music , baby naming certificate and unlimited communication along the way.
Commitment Ceremony
$700
An idea for couples who symbolically want to publicly declare their love and commitment to one another without the legal binding aspect of a marriage
Prepare and write a perfect script with samples I can provide of readings, commitment vows and verses , use of a state of the art PA system including microphone and music, commitment certificate and unlimited communication via email and phone.
Funeral
$1,300
A ceremony held to honour and remember someone who has passed away, I can provide a structured event for family and friends to grieve, say goodbye and celebrate the life of the deceased. Together we will customise a package to suit your needs including but not limited to meeting in person, ceremony design and customisation , writing the eulogy, liaising with funeral director / home, conducting ceremony on the day , creation and print of memorial booklets, and endless support for you and your family during this difficult time.
